Dick Gaffin on Union with Christ

Richard B. Gaffin Jr.,  is professor of Biblical and Systematic Theology, Emeritus at Westminster Theological Seminary, PA. He has written some very helpful books in the respective disciplines that his title reflects. I’ve especially benefited from his discussions of the relationship between historia salutis and ordo salutis originally taken up by his mentor, Herman Ridderbos {see Gaffin’s lectures on the subject here and here}. Likely Gaffin’s most enduring theological legacy is his work on the doctrine of union with Christ, picking up a theme stressed by another mentor of his: John Murray.
